8A- Solving the Problem
A restaurant where you help cook the food. It's a way to teach people how to cook while also being more affordable than a cooking class. Customers could book in advance and cook in a private kitchen, for an added price. This would be a way to teach college students how to cook while also getting a cheap meal. Each customer would leave with the recipe for the dish they cooked and the option to buy a package containing all the ingredients. There would also be an option to just buy recipe cards and ingredient boxes. This is better than subscription services because most college students don't want to pay for them. This service allows for more freedom.
I really appreciate your insight in the versatility you give students within your solution towards your opportunity. This allows for a new type of independence for students as they look to improve their quality of living overall during their time at college. Taking into account the limited funds that we students have, it allows choice and freedom, as you put it within your own piece.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea and would love to see it become an actual thing because I believe it would be profitable and good for the community. I agree that it provides more freedom and good experience than just a subscription service. If it could actually be cheap and help students learn how to cook while also providing a cheap meal, this would be a perfect business idea. I know I would love to go a place like that with friends.
ReplyDeleteHello Riley,
ReplyDeleteThis is a very interesting concept. An opportunity like this would not only be educational but it sounds like it would be a very enjoyable time to see how chefs at a restaurant prepare food and apply this knowledge to life at home. By keeping costs lower it also opens up this business to many more customers who perhaps do not have very much knowledge with cooking. This is a very creative and thought out concept!
